A decorated war veteran who served in India’s major conflicts, including the 1962 Indo-China War and the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, Sharma’s exceptional skills and courage earned him the respect of his peers.
After retiring from the military in 1979, Sharma leveraged his extensive experience in civil engineering to excel in global oil and construction projects in Iraq, Oman, and the UAE. In 2007, he assumed the role of Chairman of the 3S Group, guiding the company’s growth and expansion with his strategic acumen and unwavering vision.
Throughout his life, Col. S.K. Sharma was revered as a warm, empathetic leader who advocated tirelessly for the rights and recognition of veterans and the underprivileged.
